Coach Judy — One Percent Better Forever

About Me

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University in 2001. I’m a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and have spent more than a decade training clients in both personal training and group settings. I also practiced OT in hospital and rehab environments for 20 years. My philosophy is to empower clients through education and purposefully designed programming, showing how exercise and healthy eating can improve quality of life. I bring practical nutrition knowledge and have engaged extensively with the Precision Nutrition system, one of the country’s most respected nutrition education frameworks.

Coaching Philosophy

Strength with a purpose: Sustainable progress comes from well-structured programming that builds strength and endurance without unnecessary discomfort.

Education-driven: I believe knowledge is empowerment. I explain the why behind programming and nutrition so you can own your health.

Holistic lifestyle: Training integrates movement quality, nutrition habits, and daily routines to support lasting change.

Gentle yet effective: My approach avoids unnecessary beat-downs. Sessions focus on meaningful gains, technique, and sustainable habits.
